After a great Alsace Wine Dinner a few weeks ago, the beast + bottle crew are throwing together another multi-course meal on Thursday, 2/20. This time, the crew is paying homage to the Beatles’ now-infamous appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show in February 1964 — and each dish of the 4-course wine dinner is inspired by a Beatles song:
Amuse: Savoy Truffle // Mascarpone arancini, cabbage, Kim chi vinaigrette
Fish: Octopus’ Garden // Octopus confit, tonnato, pickled shallot, smoked potato
Fowl: And Your Bird Can Sing // Moroccan spiced quail, almond-cherry couscous, kumquat gastrique
Meat: Piggies // Variations of pork, prune, port, roasted garlic custard
Dessert: Yellow Submarine // Coconut sponge, carbonated citrus curd, macadamia nut
