“Come for the donuts, stay for the wieners”
Some words of advice for those looking to take on Chef Ian’s colossal sugar masterpieces:
1. Come hungry.
2. Forget your diet (they are not welcome ’round these parts).
3. Take cover (exploding whipped cream incoming).
I had the Curtis Caldwell, named after Denver’s Vesta Dipping Grill sous-chef who passed away in January. This pile of decadence came filled with peanut butter and pastry cream, topped with chocolate and exploding whipped cream.
Other donuts on the list are: Donut Bread Pudding, S’mores, Oink (made with bacon), Tropical, Almond Joy, Baklava, Bananarama, Lemon Meringue, and the fan-named Rubarbarella. You can also chase your donut with a liquid nitrogen mocha topped with exploding whipped cream.
Shop is open Wednesday (7/17) – Saturday (7/20), 6am – 10am
2148 Larimer St Denver, CO 80205
