Régis Roinsard’s Populaire (2012) stole my heart when I saw it at a short run at Denver’s SIE Film Center and I’ve been waiting for it to be available for an encore show in my Stateside apartment ever since.
Imagine my delight when I saw the title recommended to me on Netflix! I have watched it at least a dozen times since and haven’t lost interest. It’s an instant classic.
Think: Mad Men meets My Fair Lady meets… typing competition.
Okay, I know, it sounds weird, but I can’t give too much away! Just go pull it up on Netflix for streaming immediately.
